Our Bernice Brower’s dearly loved, sweet mother and lifelong friend, Josephine Paulson (84), has recently moved in to live with Bernice and Paul for the last time. Diagnosed with Stage IV cancer on March 24, 2017 (liver, pancreas, and skull bone), Jo has opted not to undergo any conventional treatments. Hospice is providing the equipment and supplies needed to care for her at home.

Bernice shares, she knows her mother would love to receive any funny or interesting cards which others may be able to send. These may be sent care of the Browers at their home address (listed in the church directory – via print version, or smart phone app). Bernice has shared, “I am blessed to be able to spend more time with her and just ask for your prayers for support since this is now my full-time, 24/7 job, with a heap of help from my loving husband, Paul.”

If you have (or know someone who has) experience helping an elderly patient and would like to be part of Jo’s respite support group, Bernice asks to be notified via email (listed in the church directory). Compensation will be made. The family thanks everyone for their love and continuous prayers.
