One Year Later
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Pastor Larry Zuchowski (Nov. 29, 1947 – Dec. 19, 2015)
One year ago Edmonds Adventist Church said farewell to our beloved Pastor Larry Zuchowski, who passed away on December 19, 2015. Throughout 2016 we have been blessed to have Pastor John Brunt step in to help us through the healing process, to have peace and gain strength. Our church family is as strong as ever and we to continue move forward in our mission (and one of Larry’s strongest desires): to lead people into a maturing new life in Jesus Christ.
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”
As we celebrate Christmas we can remember what Larry taught us about life in The Kingdom: to follow Jesus, invite Him into our lives, and to have peace in our hearts. It is sad that Larry is no longer with us, but I am thankful for the assurance that we will one day see him again–just as we look forward to seeing the Father on that day when we enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. One year later and we are getting stronger each day. Thank you Pastor John Brunt for stepping in this past year to encourage us and to continue leading us on our path and journey to our Savior Jesus Christ.
