ABOUT
EDMONDS ADVENTIST CHUCH

GET TO KNOW US

Edmonds Adventist Church is a vibrant multi-generational, multi-cultural community of Christ followers full of love and grace for people of all walks of life. Come join us every week on Saturday at 10AM for Sabbath School (all ages) and 11:05AM for corporate worship. In addition to our weekly services we have a wide variety of opportunities to serve God and love our neighbors. For children ages 4-9 we have an Adventurer club where children learn about God's love, how to serve others with opportunities for practical application, and loads of fun. For older children ages 10-15 we have a vibrant Pathfinder club focusing on practical living, loving God, and loving our neighbors. The Pathfinders do a monthly outreach ranging from providing food and cards for children and families at the Ronald McDonald House to making balloon creations for kids at the Edmonds Car Show.  Our children's ministry offers an annual evening VBS and weekly Sabbath School for all ages.

Edmonds Adventist Church believes in breaking bread together by having regular monthly potlucks after worship, annual corn roasts, annual soup communion, and many more. We believe God's commands to love Him and love our neighbors are the most important commandments. This love is what we want everyone to experience when they walk through the doors.

Some of our foundational beliefs

Edmonds Adventist Church is a Seventh-day Adventist community of faith. As such, we are committed to certain theological tenets which inform the way we live before God in the world. Principal among those tenets are the faith affirmations which follow.

  • ·        We believe God, the eternal Creator, is revealed partially in nature, fully in the Bible, and most completely in His Son, Jesus Christ
  • ·        We believe Jesus of Nazareth is the fully human, fully divine Son of God
  • ·        We believe salvation is received by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ
  • ·        We believe the Bible is the enduring, inspired Word of God which unfailingly shows us the way of salvation
  • ·        We believe Christians are saved from the power of sin and death and through salvation are empowered worship God and perform acts of love to all humankind
  • ·        We believe the seventh-day of the week was set aside at creation as holy time and continues to be a time to focus on worship, communion with God and others, and service to each other
  • ·        We believe God is the owner of all and He entrusts us to use His gifts of resources, time,  and talents to serve Him through our giving, serving, and loving others
  • ·        We believe history is moving toward the eternal kingdom of God, to be set up finally and fully at the time of the literal second coming of Jesus Christ
